About the service

We provide assistance and counseling services to migrants living in Prague in order to support their orientation in the Czech environment and to enable their engagement in public life.

Intercultural work services are usually provided in the Czech language and, if necessary, in another world language according to the abilities of the particular intercultural worker.

ALL SERVICES ARE PROVIDED IN PRAGUE AND FREE OF CHARGE.

Intercultural work

  • Interpreting and accompaniment to authorities, schools, doctors etc.
  • Basic social counseling in Czech and other languages (eg information on the social system, employment conditions, education, health care, foreigner’s stay in the Czech Republic, etc.)
  • Help with orientation in the Czech environment (eg transferring contacts to civic society organizations, becoming acquainted with the possibilities of engagement in local civic life.)
  • Contact the intercultural worker by phone or e-mail at least 3 days in advance.
