Returning family with four children from Sudan

“A refugee from Sudan needs help for his four children. Her husband has been a political prisoner in Sudan for five years and has no news of him. „

We wrote this report with a request to contribute less than two years ago.

A year ago we wrote:

Now everything is different. Unexpectedly, the men were released after six years and at the end of November 2018 he managed to get to his family in Prague. The family had a happy time. But there were big financial problems. The woman is still incapable of work and social benefits have been suspended for her family. The reason is that the man became, together with the apartment, a jointly assessed person.

How does the story continue at the end of 2019?

The man has not yet settled his documents and so the family still has suspended social benefits. The man took NGO language courses with the help of NGO, but there are problems with legal work.

Meanwhile, the children grew up again. They are now between 11 and almost 18 years. The oldest one went to a graphic school, focusing on the use of photography. (The school has big financial costs.) She still plays the violin and goes to the brigade to contribute to the family budget. Two boys and the youngest daughter play football and are very talented. Children are lively and cheerful.

At the beginning of 2019, her mother started a qualified job. This autumn, however, had pneumonia, and it still has reverberating consequences, so it is still unfit for work.

Unfortunately, the family is currently in considerable financial distress and in danger of heavy indebtedness. She needs money for routine spending for children, rent, food, dressing, and so on. We hope that with your support, they will finally be able to get away from the world and start to live in peace in the Czech Republic.

(Some of you contributed to the children last year or the year before, for which we thank you very much.)

If you would like to support family and especially children, send any amount of money to account number and variable symbol:

Support of a single mother with two ill children

September 2019

Our client Mrs. M. lives alone with her two sick children. She comes from Uzbekistan and needs financial assistance for the costs of moving and paying rent in the apartment (bail + rent + moving) because her lease is terminated and unfortunately she has been in a very difficult financial situation.

Neither the client nor the children have obtained permanent residence in the Czech Republic because the proceedings take a very long time, which complicates their requests for financial assistance from the system in the Czech Republic. Mrs. M. takes care of everything all by herself, the father of children does not participate in raising children, even financially. A son (10 years old) has atypical autism and attends a special elementary school for only 3 hours a day. Both children suffer from ataxia and cerebellar disorder and the daughter (13 years old) also has movement problems, cannot walk independently and is therefore educated at home.

The child’s illness was a major intervention in the client’s life. Mrs M. cannot continue her business activities to the same extent as before, since childcare is very time-consuming. Also, the diagnosis of children was very expensive considering that the children had only commercial health insurance and no examination was paid by the health insurance company. Now the client has to pay an expensive diet for both children (celiac disease).

As a result of these events, the client got into great financial distress. In a flat which she had rented for four and a half years, her lease contract ends in September 2019, which is unlikely to be extended. If the client does not get enough money, it is possible that she will not have a place to live with the children.

Now he needs approximately CZK 45,000 to 50,000 for bail, rent and moving. If it does not find the apartment itself, it may be necessary to pay a fee to the real estate agency. The client does not have any flat yet and therefore the target amount is not quite clear, but she is actively searching.

The client will be very glad for any financial help.

The money sent for the purposes listed below is intended for general collection. Funds will be primarily intended for specific individuals, according to the variable symbol you specify. In some cases, however, the purpose of withdrawing money will cease to exist (for example, it will be possible to obtain health insurance for the person for whom money was collected for the operation) or disbursement will not be effective (eg the financial situation will improve). The money you send will then be used for the general purpose of the collection.

Financial collection to ensure the operation of the spine

January 2019

Our client Elmira K. needs help for her daughter Veronika. The family moved to the Czech Republic in 2017 due to the health condition of their daughter. They come from Azerbaijan and decided to do so because the country of origin could not provide the necessary care.

Veronika is 13 years old and has home education in the Czech Republic, because her health condition does not allow her to attend regular primary school and her mother takes care of her all day. She has undergone heart surgery in the past and suffers from epilepsy.

Financial support the family needs to ensure the operation of the spine. Veronika suffers from idiopathic scoliosis and needs to undergo costly surgery where her implants will be operated. The price of the operation is preliminary 1 200 000 CZK. At present, they have secured part of the funds, but they still have to raise 400 000 CZK.

In this way, we would like to help the family to ensure that their daughter is not so limited and can lead a normal life. The family works with our organization.

Re-supporting the family with four children from Sudan – just in a different situation

December 2018

“A refugee from Sudan needs help for his four children. Her husband has been a political prisoner in Sudan for five years and has no news of him. ”We wrote this report with a request to contribute less than a year ago.

But a man cannot start working because he is waiting for a temporary stay. The Czech authorities take 60 days to do this, so the current financial situation is absolutely desperate for the family. Starting in January, the man will start to learn Czech intensively and after obtaining the documents he will look for work.

Meanwhile, the children grew. They are between 10 and 17 years old, the oldest is applying for a film school and still playing the violin. The youngest started playing football and sang beautifully. Both boys play football actively and have many other interests. Children are lively, cheerful and happy to have a daddy at home.

Unfortunately, the family is currently in great financial distress. She needs money for routine spending for children, rent, food, dressing, and so on.

(Some of you contributed last year to the holidays for these children or to school supplies, for which we thank you very much.)

If you would like to support family and especially children, send any amount of money to account number and variable symbol:

If you would like to support children in the long term, you can set up a standing order and even send a small amount per month.

Contribution to the spa for the disabled son of our client

Our client Aminat S. has a son with a serious disability, wheelchair bound. Every year they went to the Teplice spa, where they help their son to improve their self-service and make the client much easier.

This year, however, shortly before the date of the spa, the client learned that, because the son was already 18 years old, the insurance company will no longer pay him or the client accompanied by the spa. The client has to pay for her stay in the spa from her own resources.

The husband tries to help the client considerably, but it is not in their power to get the entire 53 000 CZK by 9 November 2018 – by this date the spa wants to pay the stay. The client will be very glad for any financial help.

Supporting a family with four children from Sudan

A refugee from Sudan needs help for his four children. Her husband has been a political prisoner in Sudan for five years and has no news of him. The lady has to take care of the children and the household herself. She is employed as an assistant at a school in Prague, but since February 2018 she has been unable to suffer from severe spinal pain. Therefore, he cannot currently increase his income.

Children are between 9 and 16 years old, the oldest playing violin, the youngest singing beautifully, others are interested in football, bike, painting and computer. They are lively and cheerful.

The family needs finances for common expenses such as food, rent, dressing and so on. Children also need financial support for holiday camps and other expenses.

Some of you contributed already last year to holidays for these children or to school supplies, for which we thank you very much!

Helping young parents with twins in a difficult situation

We would like to address you in this way to support young parents with twins who find themselves in a very difficult situation.

Parents are long-term residents (both students) and are therefore not entitled to public health insurance. They had paid comprehensive insurance, but it does not cover all unexpected costs. The children had to come suddenly and prematurely, so nothing else could be done. They must be in the hospital and their release is not possible at the moment.

The family works with InBazi, which has launched a collection to support them. Thank you for helping.

Helping a family of five in need

We would like to ask you for a contribution to a family with three children in need. The family has been in the Czech Republic for 10 years, originally from Ghana.

Her husband had worked earlier and the family was financially stabilized, but then his visa was complicated and now he cannot work legally. We deal with his stay within the framework of legal counseling. The client works and feeds the whole family, children go to school here.

Now they would need to buy an annual health insurance for three children. In total it will cost 15 000 CZK, 8 000 CZK already saved, so they need help to get 7 000 CZK.

A possible contribution would help them solve this difficult situation.

Helping a family from Syria in need

Thank you very much for the financial support of this family. The amount of CZK 28,245 was collected in the public collection, which is twice the amount of the collection.

Thus, the amount collected allows the family to pay two rents. Thank you!

In this way we would like to ask you to help a family from Syria, who has been granted asylum in the Czech Republic and is now in a difficult life situation.

The family lost 3 children during the war in Syria. With two children they managed to escape and find asylum in the Czech Republic. All family members suffer severe physical and psychological damage from the war. The family has lived in the Czech Republic for more than a year, but in many areas of life it is still dependent on the help of others, volunteers, social workers and friends. Improving their health and learning to live independently in the Czech Republic is a long-term process.

Neither parent is doing well enough to work fully.

At the moment, the family is financially burdened and would be very much in favor of any assistance that would allow them to pay the August rent in their current housing so that they could receive regular financial assistance from the state.

Rent is 13 520 CZK.

As an InBase, we want to help the family with the payment of one-off expenses. At the same time, our staff is helping the family in their overall situation so that in the long run they can lead a satisfactory life as a family in a new country.

Collection to support Mrs. Sofia and her husband

Dear friends,

My name is Sofia and I come from Israel. My husband and I came to the Czech Republic 8 years ago. We have worked together in the field of foreign language teaching, physiotherapy and acupuncture.

Since 2011, we have stopped doing business. Unfortunately, at that time we did not have enough money to return to Israel and start from the beginning. There are no loved ones there to help us. We have asked for official support from Israel several times, but we have not received any response, as did the Czech Jewish community.

We tried to continue working, but we could no longer pay health insurance and other obligations. My husband suffered a stroke as a result of stress, and I was fully developing type 1 diabetes because I was very worried about my husband’s health. The last money we had was spent on drugs for my husband and me. It was very expensive for us because we no longer had health insurance.

Since 2014, the remnants of our clientele have eliminated sanctions against the Russian Federation. At that time, we saw an outflow of clients as they could no longer afford to pay for our services. As a result, we have lost everything – clients, work, housing and last money.

The only way out of this desperate situation was suicide. But help got to us in time and thankfully we are alive today. Now we are facing the same situation again without the future, resources, and from 01.08.2016 even without a roof over our heads.

We ask for your help, because we want to get back on our feet. We will be very grateful for your support. We currently need the means to buy food, medicines to alleviate diabetes, daily needs, a renewal fee, and a possible return to Israel. Thank you for all your support.

Collection to support Sagar Puri

Hi, my name is Sagar Puri and I was born in 1991 in Kathamdu, Nepal.

In the Czech Republic, I started studying at the Czech University of Agriculture in Suchdol – Faculty of Economics and Management, bachelor program System Engineering and Informatics. Everything was fine, I really like Prague, it is very nice, I made friends here, learned the first words in Czech. I thought everything would be perfect.

Unfortunately, at the end of April my country, my city where I lived with my family and where my family still lives, was hit by a catastrophic earthquake. This event has changed my whole life. I haven’t been able to connect with any of my family for a long time, and eventually I contacted my mother in mid-June 2015.

I learned that my family now lives in a tent camp where she was evacuated, in a tent. I have also learned that the family is in such a difficult situation that it can no longer support me in my studies, because they are completely without resources. They lost everything as a result of the earthquake and are happy to live at all. The whole city is in ruins, panic, helplessness and nothing works. Unfortunately, this has led me to a very difficult human and financial situation. I have no funds to cover my studies, accommodation, meals, and there is nowhere to return, and apparently there is no one to help me. I am alone.

The university asks me to pay for additional tuition fees (I study an English program, which is subject to a fee), I have to pay for accommodation, meals … and I have nothing to do because my family did not send me any money and to apply for assistance within the social security system of the Czech Republic. Now I survive only with the help of friends.

Please respectfully for your help. I am in a hopeless situation for me and I ask for a visa of patience in the Czech Republic, as I cannot afford to continue my studies at the moment, and I have nowhere to go.

Given the situation in Nepal and my hometown and my life situation, I would very much like to stay in the Czech Republic for a long time. I feel good here, I like it here, I have new friends here. The Czech Republic has become a second home for me.

In cooperation with non-profit organizations, I will try to find a job and a work permit to earn a living and study. What I ask is at least help with paying rent at the dorm for July and August before I can find a job or at least a part-time job.

The rent was 7,000 CZK (2x 3,500 CZK for two months).

SOS for Mrs. Akila’s family

My name is Akila, I come from Chechnya, but I have been living in the Czech Republic with my family for the last years.

Since escaping from my country in 2005, I have been through two unsuccessful asylum procedures, now I have been waiting for permanent residence since October 2014, which, to my misfortune, means that we are not allowed to work until we get it with my husband and children ( before we were denied our last application for asylum, we had that permission and we were both working).

We were an ordinary family, always modestly enough with what they had. Now we face every month the checks by the Alien Police to see if we have the right visas, which we have to constantly extend while waiting for permanent residence, which is very costly for us financially. In addition, we are forced to take out commercial (contractual) insurance at this time, as we are not covered by the public insurance system by refusing asylum and a pending application for permanent residence.

We asked for help at the end of February 2015, at that time we were hoping that everything would turn out well and that by this time the whole family would have a permanent residence and we would start living like a normal family again. This did not happen, on the contrary. The Department of Asylum and Migration Policy of the Ministry of the Interior of the Czech Republic, which decides on all residence matters of foreigners, has not yet issued a permanent residence decision, which I intensively deal with attorney Mgr. Pavel Čižinský, who filed a lawsuit in this matter. In addition, my husband was refused a visa in April because I turned to a non-governmental organization to help me pay for the health insurance required at the time, thanks to her help and help to people who were not indifferent to my story. Now I face the situation again.

We have the current insurance until May 31, 2015. Since we do not want to leave anything to chance, we applied for a long-term stay with my husband and children. At the moment (even with a discount of 50%), however, the total cost of health insurance reaches the amount of CZK 31,500.

SOS for Magomed to buy a wheelchair

We would like to thank the Barriers Account for financial support of CZK 16,363, which will be used to purchase a new wheelchair for Magomeda.

The amount of CZK 3,500, which was sent to a transparent account from individual donors, will be used for the recovery stay of Magomeda in the spa. Many thanks to all donors for their support!

Mago has grown up rapidly in the last year, and his child’s wheelchair needs to be replaced with a new one. A new cart for a teenage boy is ordered and is expected to last longer. The total price of the new wheelchair is CZK 56,383. The trolley is for the most part paid by the insurance company. Family participation is currently 16,363 CZK.

Magomeda Story:

Magomed, 16, was born in dramatic circumstances during the Chechnya war. His mother and little Mag moved to the Czech Republic when he was four years old. Father died of war injuries.

Mago has been suffering from spastic quadruplegic cerebral palsy and epilepsy since childhood and is strapped in a wheelchair. Together with her mother, she visits a day care center. The state of Magomeda requires full day care. Mago has a very close relationship with his mother, who takes care of him almost all her time.

SOS for Mrs. Akila’s family

Mrs Akila and her family are waiting for a decision on permanent residence, which should come in the coming weeks. Their current residence status (patience) does not allow them to work, but they are also forced to pay commercial health insurance. This is 12,000 for the whole family for three months. However, they do not have this amount now. If they are not insured, there is a high risk of rejecting the application for permanent residence. Let us help them overcome this critical moment!

“My name is Akila and I have lived in the Czech Republic for almost 10 years. Since escaping from my country with my family in 2006, I have been through two unsuccessful international protection proceedings. Now I have been waiting a few months to process the application for permanent residence. The bad luck for me and my family is that I cannot be employed in my current residence status, even though my husband and I have worked so far (until my last application for asylum was rejected in 2014). We were an ordinary family, we lived modestly with what my husband and I earned. However, this has changed in the last few months. Every month, I and my family are checked by members of the Foreign Police to see if we have our visas in order – every moment we await the decision to grant permanent residence. Since the system of public health insurance does not apply to me and my family in this situation, we are forced to pay the so-called commercial (comprehensive) insurance which does not fulfill its purpose anyway. . At the moment, my family and I have taken out health insurance with Slavia until the end of February. After that, we will have to extend it again until a decision is taken to grant permanent residence, which should take several weeks. Insurance for my whole family for three months is 12 000, – CZK, which naturally as a family without a job. However, if we do not extend our health insurance, our current visa entitlements will not be extended, which may result in the denial of the permanent residence that we are so struggling for. ”

SOS for baby Feruze

Six days in the incubator for 7 thousand crowns a day – even with further care Feruz entered the world with a debt of 55 925, – CZK. Feruz, triumphant, was born prematurely. It is unfortunate that his parents do not have Czech citizenship or permanent residence. He was born without insurance. „I was hoping to avoid it,“ says Feruze’s mother, Zulfiya Hudayberganova. It has long been involved in the Campaign for Migrant Health Insurance, which aims to include, among other things, the children of foreigners in public health insurance. At least the good news is that Feruz is healthy and was insured after he was released from the hospital. For his family, however, debt is a big financial burden.

The UN Committee on the Rights of the Child also criticized the exclusion of some foreigners‘ children from the public health insurance system. At its 2011 meeting, he commented: “The Committee is concerned that foreigners‘ children are prevented from accessing public health insurance and are required to take out private health insurance at significantly higher costs. The Committee is also concerned that children of foreigners suffering from serious illnesses are often rejected by private health insurance providers and therefore do not have access to health services and care. „

SOS for baby Temuulen

Temuulen was born to Mongolian parents in a teaching hospital in Brno. He spent the first two months in an incubator and after further treatment, when he returned home, the hospital came to a bill for more than CZK 800,000. He did not have health insurance not because the parents did not want. The parents live here for four and a half years, work and have a long-term stay. They can only apply for permanent residence, thanks to which everyone could be in the public health insurance system, after five years. In this way, Temuulen was dependent on commercial insurance, but this can only be acquired by the child after birth. Due to health complications, no health insurance company was willing to take out commercial insurance. The money from the collection was intended for repayment of the debt for hospital treatment.
