Boxes of stories in the City Libraries

Storyboards are a program designed for the general public, in which not only children but also parents can playfully get to know different countries in the world (eg Ukraine, Slovakia, Vietnam, Syria, France, Poland, etc.), from which comes a large group of foreigners living in the Czech Republic. The program includes: reading a fairy tale in Czech and a foreign language, talking about the country with the use of a world map, photographs, examples of traditional objects, dance and music. Then the children in the art part can try processing using the country’s traditional art technique. The program also includes a tasting of traditional food. To make the conversation as authentic as possible, the program is accompanied by children from the country. More information and selection of programs can be found here.
