Professional Counseling
Our goal is to provide free support to migrants living in Prague in navigating various life situations, regardless of their residence status or country of origin.
By prior appointment, we offer free social and legal counseling provided by qualified professionals with practical experience
Social workers provide professional social counseling, support for families with children, and field social work within the territory of Prague.
Along with this, our lawyers specialize in residence legislation.
Consultations are usually conducted in Czech, but if needed, they can also be provided in other world languages depending on the language skills of the specific advisor.
It is necessary to make a prior appointment by phone or email for both social and legal counseling. Consultations are provided in-person only.
Social counseling
Provides help, support and possible assistance in matters of:
- housing: finding housing, negotiating with landlords, checking rental contracts
- professional application: writing a CV, motivation letter, job search, etc.
- financial situation: social security – benefits, pension, sick pay
- healthcare and health insurance
- education: study, nostrification, retraining
- residence in the Czech Republic: basic information
- negotiations with authorities and other institutions
- mediation of related services

- finding housing, negotiating with property owners, returning the deposit (security deposit), checking rental contracts, etc.

Please note that depending on our capacity, the wait time may be longer than 1 week, especially for advice provided by legal advisors.
As part of the service, we do not provide:
- Remote consulting (email, phone) without prior registration
- Representation by power of attorney
- Financial loans
- Legal services
